A BEATER book is a book that is noticeably used. (it looks a little beat up)

At The Book Bundler, we sell used books, but we sort them and grade them so our book bundles are in excellent condition. 

All of the books that are not in good enough shape for our regular bundles are graded as BEATERS and we sell these for huge discounts.  Typically around $1 a book or less.

BEATER books are still great books, popular titles etc., but they offer big cost savings if you don't mind books that are a little worse for wear.

All BEATERs are still readable, will not be missing pages and will either be ex-library or have noticeable wear to cover.
